NeXaver® Soft-Touch "Faux Fur" made of nylon with cozy fauxfur padding offers maximum protection due to the extra wide distribution of pressure. It also has various possibilities to adjust the length via the jaw pieces.
The chin and throat straps are adjustable in length and equipped with flat spring hooks.

The NeXaver® SOFT Touch Halter is very neck-friendly, since it is a halter that is easy-on-the-neck and relieves the strain on the horse's occiput and sensitive neck area. The danger of blockages and inflammations in the neck area is considerably minimized. Accordingly, a positive effect on all related muscle groups in the neck, back, chest and down to the shoulder is achieved.

The effects of the NeXaver® SOFT Touch are based on its different but constructive design solution: Instead of two neck straps, a wide, full-surface neck strap made of Cordura® material* with 6 mm thick cellular rubber padding is used for optimum pressure distribution. The neck part of the NeXaver SOFT Touch was successfully tested according to DIN EN ISO 13934-1 standards with a tensile strength of 330 kg (725,5 lbs.). As a result, the horse’s wearing comfort is higher and the horse’s overall well-being is increased.

This halter is particularly suitable for horses suffering from hypersensitivity of the trigeminal nerve.

In order to prevent and minimize any risks for future neck problems, the NeXaver is particularly suitable for horses that fall under the following criteria:

  • when loading
  • that are transported
  • that tend to rip their heads away when tied up and easily get caught in the halter
  • that have a tendency to rise
  • for foals that are still learning their first steps and are still particularly vulnerable in the neck area.

Please notice: Handling halters are not suitable to be used as gazing halters!

*Cordura® is a very robust, tear- and abrasion-resistant, textured nylon. The slightly rough surface gives Cordura® a pleasant feel. It dries quickly and is water-resistant, moisture just rolls off. Due to the strength of the fiber and the special manufacturing process, Cordura® is characterized by extremely high tear strength, unique abrasion resistance and maximum longevity. Cordura® fabric is coated with polyurethane on the reverse side (waterproof) and padded with fluorocarbon rubber on the right side (water, grease and dirt repellent). The Cordura® complies with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100. The neck part of the NeXaver SOFT Touch has been successfully tested for its tensile strength of 330 kg (727,5 lbs.)  in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13934-1 standards.


The NeXaver® halter consists of two neck straps, that provide relief on the horse's occipital bone and sensitive neck area.

By distributing pressure on the increasingly massive vertebrae with an effect also forward, instead of just downwards, the vertebrae, muscle attachments, nerve tracts and bursa sacs located in the neck area are spared. This significantly minimizes the risk of blockages and inflammation in the neck area. Accordingly, a positive effect is achieved on all related muscle groups on the neck, back, chest and down to the shoulder.
 

Due to the additional halter strap, the horse automatically receives an alternating impulse with every step instead of continuous pressure in the neck area. This results in a significantly higher level of comfort even for healthy horses, resulting in increased well-being.

The NeXaver® is particularly suitable to prevent and minimize the risk of future neck problems for horses:

  • that are being transported
  • that pull up their heads when tied down and easily get caught in the halter
  • that have a tendency to be stubborn and refuse to cooperate
  • for foals that are still learning ABC behavior and are still particularly vulnerable in the neck area.
